Hello there! My name is Sarah. I’m a Graphic Artist and Illustrator with a broad spectrum of interests and inspirations. I blame this on the fact that I was born to an artist father who doubled in an engineer’s body and a mother with true wit, imagination, and amazing insight. You learn to see the world from a unique perspective this way, and that is something for which I’m forever grateful.

Born as Sarah B. Myers, I grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and later in the Sierra Nevada, where I currently, happily, reside. Living in an environment such as I have, I took an interest early on in winter sports and, more particularly, snowboarding. At the age of eight, I began a career of competitive snowboarding and landed my first sponsor at the age of 12.

I continued to snowboard professionally in and through-out college, riding for companies such as Santa Cruz Snowboards and Cold As Ice Clothing, as well as for equipment ventures by Portland’s famous snowboard shop, Exit Real World. It was literally a fun ride all those years and though I have bowed out of major competition these days, the sport will always have a special spot in my heart and remains one of the favorite activities my husband and I enjoy together. The snowboard industry taught me a lot about the world of advertising, marketing, and business, which really amplified my long held desire to be a Designer.

Obtaining my degree in Art was a turning point. I wanted to actually use my degree and focus now on art and design as a career. In 2005 I started SBMDESIGNS, a freelance sole proprietorship specializing in Graphic Design. I absolutely love every moment of it. Any day that I get to work with my hands and create something new is a good day.
